so you finished your build?

now it's time to submit it. make sure to include all of the things listed below, and check them off as you go.

form c‑1 · make sure you have all of these

notice submit your project at least a month before the convention. less than this and we may not be able to get swag to you on time. if the date is close, come talk to us in #caravan first.

in your repo

These tick boxes are for your own use. Nothing is submitted from this page, and ticks are remembered in this browser only.

a demo video required a video hosted on youtube or reddit, showing the build in action, either unlisted or public. make sure it is complete and includes it working.
README.md required a writeup of the project, including info on what it is, how it works, and instructions on how to build it. include an image of the complete build, as well as any wiring diagrams or PCBs.
bom.csv required a csv in the root of your repo, listing all parts used, the cost, and their sources.
*.step required the .step model, exported from your CAD software. others should be able to build off of your work.
*.kicad_pcb if applicable if your project includes a pcb, include the KiCad project files, including .kicad_pro, _sch, and _pcb. if you used easyeda, include the source file as well.
firmware/ if applicable any firmware for your project should be in a firmware folder in the root of your repo. include the source code and any build instructions.

convention details

destination the convention name, city, date, and a link to its booth or exhibitor page. it has to be real, with a date, and a table you can stand behind.
carriers who's coming to the convention you, plus anyone planning on joining you at the booth. each attendee ships their own build.
carriage how you would get there how you plan to get to the convention. we will reimburse the cost of gas, or potentially a train or bus ticket if driving is not an option.

now what?

received we will review it, and reply to you in #caravan. if anything is missing or unclear, we will ask you to fix it before the next stage.
booth secured we work with you to confirm your table with the convention. if they are sold out we email the organizers together with you.
crate dispatched poster, stickers, tablecloth, and the drive or the flight worked out with you.
delivered set up your booth, show off your build, and take pictures. post them in #caravan!
